My love affair with the color pink started when I had my twin girls.  For some reason, blush pink looked really adorbs in a little girl’s room.  Before I realized it, blush hues had made an appearance in my home décor.  And, now, pink has permeated the fashion scene in a major way and clearly found its way into my closet!

This little pink number is from HM—which by the way has been knocking it out of the park lately.  Am I right or am I right? Do you remember the Balmain collaboration?  I was five months pregnant when the collection dropped, and it led me to do something I had never done before…  I shamelessly camped out for it. Totally a spontaneous decision, for which you can blame my sister.  She called me at work the day before the release to tell me she’s camping out.  I thought she was joking.  Nope, she was serious.  I asked her to save me a spot in line and I’d join her in the AM.  Not.  HM kept a running list of names of people in line that they checked hourly.  F.  I didn’t make it home that evening, and ended up at their DC store after work.  Thank God for my Mr. who agreed to single-parent that night so his crazy wife can camp out for clothes.  Now, that’s love.  Ladies, find a man who will babysit multiples while you camp out for clothes.

FWIW, I would not recommend pregnant women camping out.  My poor sister and her husband had to accompany me to the bathroom every two hours.  Imagine how fun it is to look for a bathroom at 3am.  (Bless you, Walgreens for being open 24 hours.  And thank you, sis and bro-in-law for putting up with my pregnant bladder.)  I totally went on a tangent here, didn’t I?  O’ well…

You know what else is having a major moment?  White booties—which I chose for this look.  As a mom of 3 toddlers, I cherish comfort.  I love a good heel, but more times than not, it’s not a practical choice and I shop with that in mind.  These white booties (linked below) have a kitten heel, are comfortable, and make any outfit look extra cute.  That is a win in my book.

I am also loving mini handbags in geometric patterns, lately.  So, I grabbed this Zara bag.  The best part is its only $50.  You’re welcome.
